Margi Grein - Executive Officer
Margi Grein
Margi Grein began her career with the Board in 1986 and has served as Executive Officer since 1998.  Ms. Grein oversees a staff of 65 employees.  During her tenure as Executive Officer, Ms. Grein has implemented professional training programs for Board members and staff, directed modernization of technology to better serve the public and industry members, supervised the implementation of improved procedures for conducting investigations and disciplinary hearings and improved internal and external communications.  Ms. Grein serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies (NASCLA).  Ms. Grein served as Director of Finance and Public Relations for the Board prior to her appointment as Executive Officer.

Sam Palmer - Deputy Executive Officer

Sam Palmer is the Deputy Executive Officer of the Nevada State Contractors Board. Mr. Palmer is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) with more than 35 years in the building and construction industry in Nevada. Most recently, he was Assistant Director of the Clark County Building Department. Additionally, Mr. Palmer has extensive experience in the private sector in management and as an engineer. He also served as Chief of Construction Management with the City of Las Vegas. Mr. Palmer received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Nancy Mathias - Licensing Administrator

Nancy Mathias began her career with the Nevada State Contractors Board in 1981.She quickly rose through the ranks and became Licensing Director in 1985.  She was appointed  Licensing Administrator in 1998.  As Licensing Administrator, Ms. Mathias oversees all aspects of the Licensing Division including personnel and administration.  In addition, Ms. Mathias oversees the Information Technology Division of the Board and is responsible for ensuring the integrity of all license records.

Paul Rozario - Director of Investigations

Paul Rozario was hired as Director of Investigations in June 2014.  He is responsible for program development and management for criminal and compliance investigative matters and personnel.  He also oversees internal investigations and is liaison to all statewide law enforcement agencies.  Prior to his employment with the NSCB, Mr. Rozario served 27 years in Federal law enforcement, all with the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).  During his tenure with the DEA, Mr. Rozario had assignments in San Francisco, CA; Bangkok, Thailand; Orange County, CA; Arlington, VA; and Los Angeles, CA.  From July 2010 – May 2014, Mr. Rozario served as the DEA Assistant Special Agent in Charge in Las Vegas, Nevada and was responsible for managing all DEA operations within the state.
